DMO conduct trial of MADe for ANZAC class

Australia's Defence Material Organisation (DMO) has completed a trial of PHM Technology's MADe software by BAE Systems (Maritime Business Unit)for the ANZAC class frigate operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).

The trial was designed to establish the capability of MADe to meet the requirements for a Reliability, Availability & Maintainability Analysis Tool to support analysis decisions on the supportability of the vessel.

Key outcomes from the trial were that MADe meets the requirements of the Australian Defence Force Reliability and Availability guidance notes and that implementation of MADe offers significant cost reductions and quality improvement of the analysis associated with supportability.
