PHMT accepted to Australian Community

PHM Technology was granted membership of the Australian Community on 26 May, 2014 pusuant to section 27(5) of the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012.


In 2007, the Australian and the United States Governments signed theTreaty between the Government of Australia and the Government of the United States of America concerning Defense Trade Cooperation(the Treaty). The Treaty is intended to improve the efficiency of eligible two-way transfers between Australia and theUSby facilitating the export of controlled goods within an Approved Community, without the need for an export licence. Membership of the Australian Community enables PHMT to work with US companies more efficiently, specifically by providing for the transfer of technical data without licenses.
